Fully remote E2E production & delivery workflow in 2 sec

Together with THEO Technologies we’ve developed an end-to-end live production workflow with a worldwide delivery in under 2 seconds, glass to glass! In layman’s terms: less than two seconds after the goal has been scored, you can watch it on your phone, tv or laptop wherever you are. A workflow very suitable for live sports, news, auctions, education or sports betting. Come check it out at our booth 10.D15 at IBC 2022.

In this LinkedIn Article you can find more detail on how this workflow is built and what you can do with it.

Local, live talkshow production

LiveOS Proof of Concept at YLE, Helsinki (FI), April 2022

In the month of April 2022, the live production department of the Finnish public broadcaster YLE, succesfully produced their weekly talkshow Kulttuuricocktail on a LiveOS PoC system. YLE also connected the LiveOS PoC setup to their SMPTE2110 Media Network, to synch it to the YLE house PTP and to exchange signals with between the YLE MCR and the LiveOS PoC system.

In this Linkedin article, producer and PoC organizer Sacha Lagrilliere writes about what they did, and how working with LiveOS showed them how their future workflows should look like.

Remote, over the internet, live sports production

Presentation – Sports Video Group SI summit – March 2022

In this video we explain how LiveOS and the Matrox Monarch EDGE SRT encoders & decoders, are succesfully being used to offer a remote live sports production workflow over the public internet. This is a recording of a presentation that was given during the SVG SI summit in March 2022.

Remote, over the internet, live & recorded production

Live Music Production – Ancienne Belgique – September 2021

Connected over the internet to a LiveOS setup in a private data center, Ancienne Belgique was able to successfully remote produce a 4 camera live music show.

Using our RemCo remote production box, 4 synchronised SDI camera feeds were sent to the LiveOS system via SRT (high quality, extremely low latency signal transport over open internet).

4 SDI return feeds came back over SRT, for high res monitoring, multiviewers and on-set monitors.

PTZ cams, tally, audio & lights were controlled remotely, through the LiveOS web based graphical user interface (GUI).

Remote uncompressed live & recorded production

“Bruzz 24” news show – BRUZZ – Dec 2020

Bruzz (a Brussels TV station) succesfully remote produced their daily news show “Bruzz 24” with LiveOS.

A network switch with SDI to IP modules in the Bruzz data center was connected over optical fiber to a LiveOS system in a data center 10km further.

The Bruzz production team had remote access to the LiveOS user interface and the processing power of the LiveOS system located in the data center.

They used the automation and macro capabilities of LiveOS, enabling a one man operation of a news show of medium complexity.

Decentralised Production

Controlling one production from 3 different physical locations around the globe

In this video Karel (Brussels – BE), Pelle (Stockholm – SE) and David (Singapore – SG) are collaborating on the same live production at the same time. They each log on to the same LiveOS production via the web browser on their laptop. The production is a 3 camera show (SMPTE 2110 signals), running on a LiveOS system in the NetOn.Live headquarters (BE).

Video over IP Clean Switching

Perform clean switching between SMPTE 2110 video sources everywhere in the network, at scale and at speed

In this video Karel explains what the LiveConnect Video over IP Network Switches and SDN solution can bring to the table for professional video infrastructures.
